RM Crane Bodies
Reading 20 series, 25 series, RM-45, and RM-78 crane bodies are built tough for years of trouble-free service under crane loads. 20-series are designed to support a 4000 lb. capacity crane while the 25-series was designed to support up to 6000 lb. crane. The RM-45 is the next size up and will handle an 8,000 lb. crane. Reading’s largest crane body is the RM-78 and can be outfitted to handle a 10,000 or 12,000 lb. crane. This body is made to fit a class 6-7 chassis and available in 11′ or 14′ body length. These bodies include the same features that distinguish a Reading Service Body from the competition and more!

- Torison box understructure
- Spray liner and rust protection
- Standard receiver hitch built into rear bumper
- Heavy-duty slam action tailgate with inside covered with deck plate steel for added strength; 5000 lb. reinforced tie-down rings in cargo floor
- Compression handles
- Adjustable shelving
- Oxygen and acetylene bottle vented compartment with securing devices (Optional not standard)
